Nadeshiko married her student teacher, Kinomoto Fujitaka, while in high school at the age of sixteen. This caused a big rift in her family, with many members such as Sonomi and Masaki blaming Fujitaka for taking Nadeshiko away from them. Nadeshiko became a model. She was very beautiful, but a bit of a clutz, and wasn't very good at cooking or sewing. She did play the piano, and taught Touya a song she composed herself. There are a lot of pictures of her around the Kinomoto household. When Sakura was three years old, Nadeshiko became sick and died. Even though she is no longer living, she still watches over her family.
