AAAAHHHH!!!!
Sakura does this a lot today, ne
Hearing Sakura yell, Kereberos bursts out of her school bag, ready to take on a Clow Card. Tomoyo looks at the video, looks at Kereberos, and finds a striking resemblance.

At lunch, Sakura asks Kereberos why he came along. He answers that he wanted to find out how a CardCaptor spends her day. Tomoyo asks to be introduced.

Sakura says his name is Kereberos, but thinks he looks more like a Kero-chan. "Don't call me a frog! I'm Kereberos, the Beast of the Seal who guards the Clow Cards!"

On the playground, something weird is happening. Tomoyo loves the idea of Sakura being a CardCaptor who protects the city. She asks Sakura to do some of her magic.

Sakura recites the chant and turns the key Kero-chan gave her into the Sealing Rod.

Tomoyo asks if Sakura has a trademark pose since that and spells are the basic parts of being a magical girl! More weird happenings as everyone leaves school for the day.

eyecatch The next morning, desks and gym equipment are piled up on the track outside the school.

In Sakura's classroom, everything is also messed up. Tomoyo wonders if it is the work of a Clow Card. Kero-chan says yes!

Sakura complains that it was a pain to clean up, even if they did get out of having class. But which card would mess up a school? Kero doesn't know, but it's time for the CardCaptor!

They will go to the school tonight! Sakura refuses - she's afraid of ghosts. Tomoyo says she will also go ...

so she can record Sakura's bravery on video! Waiting outside the school, Sakura is scared, even though Kero-chan is with her. Then a car and van appear.

Tomoyo introduces Sakura to the family bodyguards. Sakura is impressed! Then Tomoyo shows her the inside of the van.

Note #1 - I laughed when I heard this because it was the first Japanese pun I've actually understood. "Kero" is also the word for "frog". Doesn't exactly work in English, does it?

Note #2 - "magical girls" are a type of show in Japanese animation, where the lead character usually strikes a pose, says her chant, changes clothing, and casts a spell/uses her magic. These scenes are called a "transformation sequence". In Sailor Moon, each character has their own transformation sequence. CLAMP is great in that they can create a wonderful magical girl show, and still poike fun at it at the same time.
